Herod's Temple

Herod's Temple was built on the site of Solomon's Temple after its destruction. It continues with the three part structure and has a Holy of Holies space. However, the Babylonians had taken the Ark of the Covenant after destroying Solomon's Temple. It is said that the Holy of Holies in Herod's temple was empty.
